the cloud gulag

pulled by clouds- Brooke Shaden

Brooke Shaden  (“pulled by clouds”)

the cloud gulag

weight of being

between earth and heavenly

I hang without a net

body limp against

the stagnant sky

I reek of longing

singed feathers

sinner’s breath

“This is a fine mess you’ve gotten me into.” he muses….
