Metallic threads of synapses firing as lightening rips sky’s underbelly open.

Entrails hitting earth; hail and ear; thunder.

Mercurial strobe lights. Maniacal jack hammers.

Summer afternoon heat wave storm passes.

Smell of sodden air and earth.

Migraine lingers as barometric bars do meteorological dance.
